It was absolutely awesome. I’ve never laughed harder and more consistently in my life. Easily one of my favorite comic book movies, and easily one of my favorite comedy movies. This could be my Fury Road for 2016.

It was an amazing movie and tbh there was once sequence that made me cry a little because I connected with Wade Wilson so much in that moment.

Where he is in the market after following his girlfriend and people are giving him looks of what’s wrong with his face. I have a birthmark that covers 80% of my head and i always have people staring at me where ever I go and to see his reaction to it is how I feel every time and not being able to talk to her for fear of being rejected on how he looks is how I feel sometimes.

I actually had a similar connecting moment in the film. It was in the early stages of when he found out about his terminal cancer and was trying to find a way to cope with it. The moment when he said, “The worst part about cancer isn't what it does to you, it's what it does to the ones you love" hit me pretty hard. As someone who's mom passed away from cancer, I can tell you that line is true in more ways than one.

Loved it so much. In fact I even went to see it twice (Okay, the second time was while I was lonely during Valentine’s day so I asked my friend if she wanted to see it but those are just minor details!) The movie was excellent. In fact, it restarted my superhero movie anticipation after being burned out on all the ones from the past two years.

My inner car nut was bouncing with joy when that joke was made.

I went with two of my friends to watch it. Only one of us was really interested in Deadpool but that car reference and Chicago at the end made it all worth it for me. (Even if I fell asleep twice.)

I hear you. I haven’t seen most of the super hero films that have come out, but I did see Age of Ultron and I just didn’t care for it. I liked some of the aspects and some of the scenes (The scene with trying to lift the hammer and ‘the elevator’s not worthy’ joke were highlights), but it was just an overlong bore that was really forgettable. Deadpool made me think of the older comic book movies like the first Iron Man, the first two Blade movies, the Spider Man films, back when they were made with care for the source material rather than box office figures.

I couldn’t agree more. The first Iron Man and original Spider Man movies was pure class. After that they just went down hill. I’m hoping that with the breakout success of Deadpool they return back to making quality stuff. Hopefully more edgy stuff too now that they kind of showed R rated superhero movies can work.

When I saw the leaked trailer from way back and heard that line I knew this movie was way too good to get passed up.
